October 28, St. Cornelius set out to the Basilica of the National Shri
ne of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. We were treated to a prayerful day including the sacrament of Reconciliation, a Jubilee indulgence, and Mass led by Philadelphia's own Archbishop Nelson Pérez. We look forward to more pilgrimages in the future!

Comedy Night!
On October 17, comedian Gordon Douglas performed his unique brand of clean Christian comedy at St. Cornelius’s Parish Life Center. Attendees enjoyed a side-splitting standup show, as well as a hearty Italian dinner catered by Suburban Food Service. -
Pumpkin Painting & Egg Hunt
On Saturday October 18, St. Cornelius hosted a "Pumpkin Painting & Egg Hunt." The kids loved the additional time of the year to hunt eggs (that is, pumpkin-themed eggs with Halloween candy). Good graced us with some lovely weather that day. All seemed to enjoy the various arts & crafts, the Lincoln logs toys, and of course, the playground.
