Many people have asked how to get involved and we want to make it easy for you. We have a number of events already planned.
Garden cleanup was a success. If you have stopped by the greenhouse you can see we have plenty to plant. Our seedlings have taken off and are looking very healthy. Many thanks to the PREP Students. We are currently looking for newspapers (black and white only, no color print) to use for ground cover/weed control. We have a bin in the garden area to collect newspapers.
We can use all the help we can get. After planting in May we will have the routines of watering, weeding, staking, and eventually harvesting. If you would like to be included in the garden sign-up genius please email joburns66@gmail.com. Otherwise look for updates in the Bulletin and via Monsignor Diamond’s Thursday email.
Children working on volunteer projects / hours are welcome.

A generous parishioner has donated customized T-shirts to promote our Matthew 25 Garden. These are limited edition, 100% cotton shirts that reflect the spirit of our garden and the efforts of our parishioners to bring food to those who need it most in our community. They will be available for sale in the PLC for $10.00. All proceeds will go towards the efforts of our garden to continue to serve those in need.
Never one to shy away from work that needs to be done, Msgr. takes a well deserved break from the irrigation dig. We now have access to water at the garden site!
